Safety First for Teens

The Boulder Police Department in collaboration with the ACL presents a free  Safety First course for teens with intellectual/developmental disabilities. 

Safety First is a free three session course taught by Boulder Police Officers.

  • Session One - 11/7/2019 Social Boundaries, Personal Space, Stay Alert

  • Session Two - 11/14/19 - Getting Around Safely, RTD Ride w/VIA

  • Session Three - 11/21/2019 - Safety at Home, Pizza Party, Graduation with Dpty. Chief Weinheimer

Safety First for Adults offers small group activities, some classroom-style lecture, and lots of positive interactions with police and fire fighters.

Class time is 4pm to 6pm. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early as the group must be escorted together to the meeting room.

Registration is required. You must register for the entire course. Course dates are: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21.
